Paving on State Route 267 may cause delays
10/7/2011
Placer County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists that up to 10 minute delays are excpected on State Route 267.  Crews will continue grinding and paving operations as part of a stormwater and water quality improvement project.

October 7-8
·         Friday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m: Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls from Mount Watson Boulevard to Northstar Boulevard.

This work is part of a $2.6 million road improvement project on State Route 267 from Northstar Boulevard to Brockway Summit. This project, a part of the Environmental Improvement Program, includes new sand traps, erosion protection, and repaving of the shoulders.

Weather may prolong or cause work to be rescheduled. Caltrans urges motorists to use caution in this area and to "Slow for the Cone Zone."
